The Sims 3

So I definitely did not know The Sims 3 was released yet! I went and bought it yesterday as soon as I found out. I played around with it for about 2 hours last night. It interface is a little strange compared to the last one, but I still love it! I love how you can follow your sims to different lots without the stupid load screens. :D

Pregnancy-wise, everything is fine. I've developed a phobia of gaining like 70 pounds while pregnant! I don't think I will, but I still am trying to watch what I eat. I know I ate complete and utter crap the entire first trimester, so now I'm trying to watch it. My body lovessss to be fat. I hate it, though! I want to gain a normal, healthy amount. :)

How far along? 15 weeks
Total weight gain/loss: +7lbs total. regained my 2 lbs from last week
Maternity clothes? I own 1 maternity shirt, and 1 pair of pants.
Stretch marks? no
Sleep: Crazy dreams, never comfortable.
Best moment this week: Being one month away from the gender ultrasound!
Movement: Baby is moving, I can't feel it though
Food cravings: changes constantly, but I always want cheese, nachos, and mexican food
Gender: I'm feeling boy!
Labor Signs: Nope.
Belly Button in or out? In!
What I miss: I miss pooping.
What I am looking forward to: July 1st! We find out babies gender!!

So I'm sitting here watching cheesy shows on TV, bumping, and I have a full jar of pickles next to me. I'm a walking cliche.

Boring

So I've been boring lately. I really have nothing to say! I am working all the time, and just plain trying to get through the days. I'm still tired a lot, which I'm hoping decreases soon now that I'm second trimester. It seems a little odd to me that I'm already 1/3 of the way through this pregnancy. I thought 25% was a miracle, 33.3% is just crazy!

I'm loving the fact that we get to find out the gender in a little over a month. I'm still hoping for a boy, but I'm starting to ease into the idea that it very well could be a girl. I was adament that it be a boy, but it's getting easier to imagine a little girl. I'm glad, I really don't want to be upset by the determination of gender! LOL

Work drama is about the usual, at least one flare up a day, luckily none involving (or trying to involve) me lately. Home life is good, relaxing when I'm at home, and trying to somehow stay awake at night long enough to spend some time with Mike. I spend a lot of every day wanting to take a day off, but I can't. Well I can, I wouldn't get fired or anything, but I feel guilty if I take a day off, and I feel like money really needs to be had, so I don't ever take a day off.

I'm definitely in shock that I went from 13 weeks, back to 12 weeks, now I'm almost 14 weeks, but REALLY 14 weeks!! I feel like that last bit of first trimester hung on for dear life! :) Yay!

3 Day Weekend

It's day 3 of my 3 Day Weekend. I wish it wasn't so. I don't want to have to work tomorrow! Things are all good in my uterus, and in my life. I'm relaxing, playing the sims, and decided to take a second to post to tell everyone I hope you have a good Memorial Day!!

Okay..

So I went to Target, and purchased a new bra. Holy crap do my boobs feel better!! I also browsed the maternity section (aka the two racks) and found one single item I liked, a lavendery-pinky shirt. It's super cute, and it was on sale. I walked around the baby clothes, and just had fun looking. I looked for some DHA, but I can NEVER find the stuff! I've looked in Walmart, Kmart, Target, and the grocery store. I guess I'm stuck ordering online. My OB said it was optional to take, but it doesn't hurt, and I'd feel better if I was taking it.

So I'm rocking my new bra and my maternity shirt and just enjoying my saturday. I'm about to either go eat, go grocery shopping, play The Sims, watch TV, or take a nap. Who knows.
