I'm under 200 days left in my pregnancy!! I'm in shock! It seems like just the other day I got those two pink lines, and now all of the sudden the baby in my little ticker LOOKS like a baby, and instead of 200+ days I'm at 198! I'm so excited.
In other news, this weekend I've been incredibly boring and I wouldn't of changed it for anything. I read Belly Laughs by Jenny McCarthy (oh yeah, I cried at the end), started on What To Expect When You're Expecting, and I'm about half way through Girlfriend's Guide to Pregnancy. All of the books are nice, but I like Girlfriend's Guide and Belly Laughs the best. They aren't strictly informative, they are funny! We watched movies and lounged around all yesterday. Today we went grocery shopping, and I've just sat around. I'm watching Deliver Me on Discovery Health, and just being bored online.
So all in all, a good weekend! Tomorrow marks 12 weeks, so I'll have survey and a new picture up. Time is flying. :)
Ergh
Today is an angry day. I tried to sleep in (and I did, until 11:30) but my hips and sciatic nerve started hurting so bad I had to get up. And my neck hurts all the time. I think I need new pillows or something? I'm just feeling crappy in general, and Mike's mom is coming over tomorrow so I have to clean house. For some reason Mike is home all week and doesn't think to do dishes, or laundry. We literally had a mountain of laundry. So.. me feeling like ass I have to sweep, do 3 loads of laundry, and dishes.
Not happy.
Not happy.
Excitement

I am so excited that our next appointment is next Wednesday! I get to see baby again! Yay! :)
I also can't believe I'm almost 12 weeks. Whoever said time slows down during pregnancy is crazy! Some days do drag, but overall time is flying, and I couldn't be loving it more. Less than one week and I get to see something that actually looks like a baby (where at baby looked like a bean last time!).
Of course my anxiety still acts up sometimes, and makes me think of missed miscarriages and other nasty things. Like what if the heartbeat stopped since our last appointment? I realllllly try not to think about things like that, because I get all panicky and until someone tells me otherwise- I'm pregnant and my baby is healthy.

Good Day
Wednesday, May 13, 2009
Today was a good day. I didn't have any crazy customers, I didn't get yelled at, I didn't fall asleep at my desk, and I didn't eat fast food (but I did cave to a piece of chocolate cake. shhhh)
I measure my days in the small things sometimes, because I really tend to get overwhelmed easily. It's sad how my great grandmothers initial reaction to my pregnancy makes me angry, but random strangers comments make my day. At the end of the day all I want is people to be happy for me. Even if you're really not, even if you're lying to me, just.. tell me you're happy. Sometimes all I need to keep my brain from kicking into overdrive is people to extend common courtesies to me, and be nice.
I'd rather be lied to than be told I'm a disappointment. That is all.

Baby in my ticker was stretched out yesterday, and today it's all hunched over in the fetal position! Is it sad that seeing that made me giggle? I'm such a silly sap lately. Everything baby related makes me all wide-eyed and giddy. :)
I am SO TIRED. I need a pregnancy pillow, or some sleeping medication. The past two nights Mike and I both had trouble sleeping for no reason. Mine is that my hips start to hurt if I lay on one side too long, and my neck cramps up a lot, which prevents me from getting back to sleep once I wake up. Impossible to get comfortable! I am definitely wanting a Snoogle, or a walmart knockoff version. I may have to hit that up this weekend if this continues. It seems way too early to be wanting something like that, but oh well! Sleep is very neccesary in my life.
I had a tuna sammich for lunch yesterday, and today! Let me tell you, it was fan-tastic! I also bought a small seedless watermelon this weekend and chopped it up. I definitely have it in the fridge. Mmmm. Food is one of my all time favorite things, and even more so now! Thank GOODNESS I'm past my aversion to health food. I swear if I had to go one more day where all I want is a cheeseburger I might die. Now I feel like cheeseburgers gross me out. The greasy ick. Tuna isn't exactly a salad, but at least it's not greasy! LOL.
I feel good. Happy. :)
